About Kannon
Kannon Films is a full service independent production house that explores new forms of storytelling through fiction and non-fiction works. We specialize in both TV/Film productions, as well as creative web series. We also have a corporate department where we produce branded and editorial content.
Our offices are located in Ottawa (Canada) and New York City (United States).

The Founder
Émilie Martel is a director and a producer, and that produces content for clients worldwide. She produces both short web documentaries and feature films. She has worked on branded content and creative web series.
She enjoys introducing branded content to smaller businesses to help them create a stronger web presence. She loves to cover important stories about the environment, social justice, climate change and fascinating wildlife conservation initiatives. She also takes pleasure in covering unusual and spectacular stories.
She received the 2018 Canadian Women Artists Award and was a beneficiary of the Banff Diversity of Voices Innitiative 2018.
